This is the Place

– Charity Submission

In 2017 at a concert by Ariana Grande, Manchester witnessed to an act of terror that will be never be forgotten. At the memorial event, Tony Walsh delivered a poem named 'This is the Place' that struck a chord with not only the people of Manchester, but the world.

To commemorate the emotional poem, James Torry asked the creative community across Manchester to submit a response to a specific extract from the poem. LOVE's line; 'There's nowt we can't make'.

Manchester's known for it's dry wit (and carb overloads), LOVE's submission brought a positivity and irrelevance to the submission.

A simple illustration of one of the unsung hero's that Manchester has made - the Growler Butty.

All submissions were compiled by Glorious into a beautifully casebound bound book.
