The Brief
Create a sell in deck and film for the Medusae II boot focusing on tech stories that will bring the product to life in an interesting way.

The Concept
Creating intrigue through glimpses of the boot.

The Outcome

Atmospheric, smoke filled surroundings creates intruigue and builds suspense, as the boot can be seen emerging out from the darkness. Lights flash like lightening from different angles, creating backlit silhouettes, halo like highlight effects and illuminating key details.

The Brief
Develop a creative launch campaign for the new Umbro Medusae II boot, bringing the boots' speed and touch story to life in a way that resonates with the core market of 14 to 24-year-olds.

The Concept
Football boot technology is over convoluted and full of jargon. The launch of the Medusae II's cut through the jargon, and communicate the complex technicalities of a cutting-edge boot, in a way that only Umbro can.

Lead Campaign

 

We extended Pepe’s involvement in the campaign by capturing natural, relaxed, behind-the-scenes style photography during the shooting of the film. However, it’s not easy to catch Pepe without a smile on his face. So the ‘moody’ shots took a little longer.
